This session was taken last fall during the peak days of fall foliage.  It was a very cloudy day, and while I love golden sunset photography sessions as much as anyone, there’s something magical about a cloudy day photoshoot when the leave are at their most vibrant.  The colors seem to come alive and the sky takes on such a lovely moody tone.  I love the way days like this allow the emotion and love between my clients to take center stage.

This was also a special session because I had an amazing crew of people from Shootproof along with me.  Anyone who has ever mentored with me or taken one of my workshops knows how much I rely on Shootproof to help me run my business.  Time is my greatest resource, so anything that can put time back into my day is worth gold, and ShootProof does just that for me through their amazing sharing and selling tools.  Well, prior to this session I had the exciting opportunity to sit down with the Shootproof team to talk about what inspires me, what it means to run a successful female-owned business, and how I balance running my photography business and raising three children.  So take a scroll through this session, and be sure to check out the Shootproof video links at the bottom!
