Every month Lemonaid & Lenses has a cover contest to find the cover image for their monthly photography magazine. When I learned that December’s issue was family, I immediately knew I wanted to submit this image. I’ve have known this beautiful Mama for over 15 years and she is simply one of the most genuine people I have ever met. It’s no surprise that her children are equally beautiful both inside and out. I can’t resist the visible connection between this Mama and her little girl ……I just feel the love radiating from them!
So when was notified that this image was chosen from those submitted around the country to receive an Honorable Mention I was simply over-the-moon excited!!! What an exciting honor 🙂
It’s a long-term goal of mine to someday be published in print…..and the little recognitions, awards and acknowledgements from contests I enter are nice barometers and pats on the back to help me keep that dream alive 🙂
