I am a business of one.  My work and my business are and will forever be what I put into them.  I don’t have a boss telling me what to do, there aren’t big corporate goals to push me to do better, there are no coworkers that I am competing with for promotion……My ambition, my drive and my personal growth are managed by me alone.  I must set my own goals…..I must make them happen.

Today I was thrilled to learn I earned pro status at In Beauty & Chaos.  And in accomplishing this goal of mine, today was a healthy reminder that it doesn’t matter what my goals are…..All that matters is that I set them, that I commit to them, that I hold myself accountable.

For, in the journey to achieve these goals lies new friendships that give me support and courage, rejection that gives me strength and determination, and most importantly personal growth as an artist…..growth that only furthers my love for something I am so incredibly passionate about.
